Durable Media

The standard jointly developed by BVI and Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft (DK) for the settlement of the dispatch of 'durable media' is intended to facilitate the settlement procedure with depositary banks, particularly for foreign fund companies. The latter send the durable media to the investors on behalf of the fund companies. According to the German Investment Code (KAGB), fund companies must reimburse the shipping costs to the depositary banks. Our uniform registration form for the reimbursement of costs facilitates the handling.
